The offer of Kansas City bosses for a third consecutive title of the Super Bowl reached an abrupt ending on Sunday. The Chiefs offensive was mainly ineffective against Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes was fired six times and finished the game with 257 air yards. Travis Kelce, one of the most reliable objectives of Mohamses, represented only 39 of those yards.
The loss of the Super Bowl also brought the twelfth season of Kelce’s NFL to a disappointing end. The regular season with 823 reception yards ended, which marked the second consecutive year that the closed Star wing did not reach the 1,000 -yard reception mark.

He will also celebrate his 36th birthday during the 2025 season. While Kelce received the honors of Pro Bowl for a tenth consecutive year and remains a productive player, his age and his dazzled visualization in the great game continued to drive questions about when he could decide to move away from the game.
Last month, during an appearance in “The Stephen A. Smith Show”, Kelce admitted that his thoughts on retirement tend to fluctuate, but plans to “reassess” during the low season. As the low season of the Chiefs begins, the former NFL player and current ESPN analyst, Ryan Clark, cited the dilemma of Jason Kelce after last season and compared it to the current situation of his brother.
Jalen de Eagles, Nick Sirianni, praised God after winning the Super Bowl Lix: “Thanks to him”
“Isn’t Trav Trav in the same place as our colleague and friend, his brother, Jason Kelce, was last year?” Clark asked. “I still feel that you can still do it and you still have it, but you know you don’t have it as you used to do it. And it will be based on whether Travis Kelce understands or not a diminished player and feels comfortable with that.”
After the Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs last season, reports arose that Jason informed his teammates that he had decided to retire. Several weeks later, the offensive liner confirmed his retirement in an emotional speech.
“When you are at the highest maximums, when you are the best closed wing that catches in the history of the National Soccer League, it is difficult to enter a game last night, have two drops, have no shocking capture or impact on the Game, “said Clark. “Can Travis Kelce go in 2025 and be that person? Especially when so many lucrative opportunities await him in his second career.”

Kelce’s four Sunday receptions were enough to ensure the record of most of the Super Bowl race with 35. The member of the Hall of Fame of Professional Soccer, Jerry Rice, had the previous brand with 33. Kelce He has also registered more post -season receptions than any other bosses player in history.

Clark suggested that Kelce would weigh the “type of player who wants to be” before making a final decision on retirement.
“Travis Kelce will have to take time, sit and know what kind of player wants to be and what kind of life he wants to live, but he has earned the right to take his time to do it,” Clark added.
Kelce has 12,151 race race yards and 77 touchdowns in 12 regular NFL seasons.
