Florida’s state supporter, Ethan Pritchard, is in critical but stable conditions after being shot on Sunday night, the university announced in a statement on Monday.
Pritchard, a first year student of 6 feet 2 and 224 pounds, was visiting the family in Havana, Florida, when he was shot.
“The Pritchard family is grateful for the support of so many people, as well as for the care of lifeguards and medical professionals, and asks that their privacy be respected at this time. More updates will be provided as they are available,” said Florida State in a statement.

Pritchard remains in intensive care in a hospital in the area of Tallahassee, the university added. He did not play in the harmful victory of 31-17 of the seminols over No. 8 Alabama on Saturday.
The Gadsen County Sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to Pak Gazette Digital investigation.
Pritchard played football at high school in Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, and was a four -star recruit. It was qualified No. 437 in the 247Sports Composite and the number 507 nationwide in the Ranking of the ON3 industry.

ESPN classified Pritchard as the number 39 at the national level and player No. 64 out of Florida.
As a last year student, he helped to take Seminole High School to a 10-2 record and his second consecutive regional final in 2024, registering 39 tacle and seven cups for loss in nine games.

As Junior, Pritchard had 75 cups, 11 tacle for loss and a loose ball recovery when Seminole High School had 10-3. He began his career in high school as security before the transition to the supporter as a second year student.
Pritchard promised with the state of Florida in October 2023, choosing the seminols on Miami, Florida and UCF, among others.
