The Ethereum Foundation (EF), the non-profit organization that supports the development and research of the Ethereum block chain, shared in a blog post on Saturday that they have selected Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak as its new executive directors.
The news continues to the announcement of Aya Miyaguchi leaving that role to become the new president of the EF. The leadership shake follows an intense debate between the community about the role of the EF in the ecosystem, since some have blamed the organization and its leadership of the prices of Token of Blockchain (ETH) that are delayed behind other cryptocurrencies, while the block chain attracted less new developers than its competitor Solana for the first time.
Wang has been in the EF since 2017, where it helped investigate concepts such as fragments, as well as contributed to the main ethhereum review known as “The Fusion.” Stańczak founded Netermind, one of the largest software or customers that operate the Ethereum block chain.
“In the coming years, the Ethereum ecosystem needs to navigate the challenging transition to be an early stage that serves a small number of enthusiasts to be a solid base layer resistant to censorship without censorship of finance and global software,” said the foundation in its blog post.
More shuffling
In addition to Wang and Stańczak assuming their new roles, former US researcher Danny Ryan shared that he would join Etherealize, the new project aimed at taking ETH to Wall Street. The firm was founded by former banker Vivek Raman, who previously shared with Coindesk that one of Etherealiz’s objectives is to close the gap between Ethereum and banks through the education of institutions and marketing ETH as a serious cryptographic active.
In a publication shared in X, Ryan said he intends to “build a new Ethereum institution with the real world Ethereum as its northern star.”
“The world is ready to come to the chain, and we are here to do the hard work necessary for this to happen,” Ryan added.
