Starknet, a layer 2 on Ethereum, is obtaining its first application chain established in the network.
The Layer-3 application chain, called Nums, is built from the “SN pile”, a customizable tool kit that allows developers to create 3 layer block chains based on Starknet technology.
Nums itself is a game in the chain that allows players to try to sequence a series of 20 generated numbers. Users can win tokens $ nums playing the game, with the tokens issued through Starknet.
Starkware, the main developer firm behind Starknet, originally shared in July 2023 that it was building the SN battery. The announcement followed similar releases from several of the Starkware competitors, such as Apirum’s Orbit Stack and Optimism’s Op Stack, which came out in 2023. Last January, Starkware’s Sn Stack was launched.
Despite several layers of layer 2 already live and the existing layer 3 games in those chains, the team behind Nums affirms that its decision to build with Starknet technology is because it allows more “computationally complex and more ambitious applications” Said Tarrence go as CEO of Carttridge, the main developer firm behind Nums, in an interview with Coindesk.

Cartridge is one of the main developers that are based on Starknet, known for launching its frame dojo, a tool engine that allows developers to build games and applications in the network.
