Ethereum is ready to suspend its biggest test network, Holesky, after finding challenges that tested the next sicking update.
The Ethereum Foundation (EF) said in a blog post on Tuesday that the network, a controlled environment to test the infrastructure and updates of Ethereum, will begin to liquidate, with a complete shutdown scheduled on September 30. The newly launched Hoodi test network, deployed on Monday, will serve as a replacement for Holesky.
The deprecation plan occurs after Holesky fell out of line due to the defective test of February Ethereum Next pein update. The developers took weeks to recover Holesky, which returned in line in March, but suffered residual damage, the so -called “inactivity leaks” that obstructed the entire Validador de Holesky apparatus.

Currently, Holesky is used by validators and rethinking suppliers, but the Similar Construction Hoodi network will serve that function in the future.
