The Workers’ Welfare Board, Sindh (WWBS) has announced a series of well-being initiatives for industrial workers of minority and women communities, including the provision of electric bicycles, as part of the MAARKA-O-HAQ celebrations and independence day.
Sindh’s Secretary of Labor, Rafiq Qureshi, said that to strengthen the institution’s financial credibility, WWB will invest RS3 billion in Sukuk bonds that meet the SECP.
The measure aims to generate funds to expand facilities for workers.
