- Lego’s next DC Batman set is official: Arkham Asylum
- The SET of 2,953 pieces was presented in San Diego Comic with
- It is a three -level set and comes with 16 minifigures
Yes, it is the eve of San Diego Comic with 2025, and Lego is not wasting time in the new sets, and Techradar is showing exclusively one of the most exciting additions to the theme of Lego Batman in recent memory.
The LEGO DC Batmobile has been impressive for a long time, but the new Asylum of Lego DC Batman Arkham is an imposing construction with piles of minifigures, 16 to be exact.
The set is built from 2,953 pieces, and is designed as a screen piece that has 12.5 inches high and almost 10 inches deep. It will join as a two -story building plus a roof, and asylum can be divided to customize the appearance. I have a feeling of collectors and fans who opt for this set will do a lot of that to organize the minifigures inside.
There are many cells to house people like Harley Quinn, Bane or the Joker, but there is also the exterior shell of the building, complete with red brick and many details. In fact, LEGO designers are sending this set with 65 stickers, that is many custom options. There is even the cement sign on the front and other details taken directly from the Batman Universe and the broader DC brand.
Of course, Arkham Asylum would not be complete without a delivery truck for the transport of inmates, so it is also included, along with several accessories for minifigures.
Let’s break down the minifigures here too. There are 16 in total, including Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Robin, Mr Freeze, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Bane, The Joker, The Penguin, Killer Croc and two security guards.
In addition, and a rarity for the LEGO sets, you will get transparent elements to help raise characters, including the ability to get out of the ceiling or take care of the upper part.
You can see a complete Gallery of DC Batman Arkham Asylum from Lego below, and will be released before the holiday season on September 12 for $ 299.99 / £ 269.99 (Australian price TB). If you are a member of LEGO INSIDERS, the brand’s free rewards program, you can ask for the set at the beginning of September 9.
Taking into account that it is built from almost 3,000 pieces and is launched before the holidays, Lego also suggests that this could be used as a kind of Batman Advent calendar. As? Well, I would build a part of each day for 24 days, since it comes with that amount of bags to form the building’s instruction brochure.
If just after a new Lego set, here are some of my favorites for sale at Amazon at this time.
