Is this the droid you’ve been looking for? Well, if you have been behind a drug that transports the loading of the size of a pint that you can follow, Lucasfilm’s last collaboration with Piaggio Fast Forward could be the one you have been looking for.
KNOW G1T4-M1N1, a special edition of Piaggio’s Gitamini Robot that adheres to the brilliant yellow shelf, perhaps a peel of Lima Green, of a droid and spears personalized stickers that give it the appearance of an astromech. You will find long arms like those of R2-D2 on the left and the right, several gray shapes that give it a peel and sensors in abundance.
In addition, through the built -in speaker, Piaggio worked with Lucasfilm to design customized droid sounds, so several beeps and boups, as well as a personalized lighting package, complete the edition of Star Wars.
Apart from that, it is the classic Gita Mini with a pile of front sensors with two cameras that function as a pair and a secondary CMOS camera. All these work together with the AI models on a device to help the G1T4-M1N1 to recognize and block on you, so you can follow and avoid obstacles.
This article is celebrated on Star Wars Day. To obtain more technological stories about a very distant galaxy, see all our Star Wars coverage for all the last ones, including where to transmit the iconic films and television programs. May the force be with all of you!
It also has two main wheels, and the robot roof is balanced between them as it slides so effortlessly. I tried it in the Techradar office in New York City, which was mostly soft. How good would it work on the sandy surface of the Tatoo or the ice surface of Hoth? Your assumption is as good as mine, but I have the feeling that the G1T4-M1N1 would ask you to never tell you the probabilities.
However, Piaggio says it exceeds 6 mph. When the co -workers saw him sliding around the office, one could have thought he had hit the hyperspace. Seriously, however, G1T4-M1N1 has a blow, and is quite compact, it measures a little less than 19 inches high.
This robot is not just about good droid looks. It has a purpose. I hid the Sabine Wren’s light saber in the load container, which opens quite easily from the top. It is also blocked through the application, so that the precious load can be stored safely. You can maintain a useful load of 20 pounds, so it could contain a bit of Beskar, which is a victory.
It is a nice robot, the result of a collaboration between Piaggio and Lucasfilm that arose quite naturally. Speaking to Techradar exclusively, Greg Lynn, CEO of Piaggio Fast forward, told us: “When we met with Disney on the campus and we were entering with a mini gita and a robot Gita Plus, it was also one of the best experiences, with people who run out of the office building that said: ‘They are here!’
Feeling strength
It was evident that the Piaggio Fast Forward team were Star Wars fans, and Lucas Film and Star Wars’s team were, as expected, robot fans and real -life drugs. Lynn shared that it was a great association working together in ‘developing all kinds of customizations and characteristics ”to make a special robot, which was formed as the G1T4-M1N1.
Lynn and Piaggio’s team were able to look through Lucasfilm’s archives in search of some first Astro-Mech droids. The mini gita already had sensors, and so did the Astro-Mechs, so it was a quite perfect pair. You will experience customized sounds at various points when you use the G1T4-M1N1, even when you start walking and stop abruptly, or change your speed quickly.
Lynn shared his emotion for this launch, and if it is already sold, the G1T4-M1N1 is now available for the request from the Disney store for $ 2,875. You will also get the Edition of Star Wars of the Droid and the special packaging. Nor is it a limited edition, so I should be able to find one of these for a little.
THE DROID THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR
The launch also advances as of May 4, 2025, also known as Star Wars Day, and this is one of the most great products, although more expensive, to debut. And if you are looking for other elements, perhaps a new Lego game or a piece of the epic collection, frost and has, you can take it in the G1T4-M1N1.
Now, if you want to see the G1T4-M1N1 in action, before buying or simply wants to try it, Disney Store in Times Square, New York, will have several of these out of this weekend, without a doubt a fun way to celebrate the day of the Stare Wars.
