The MET office has predicted wind, rain and thunder storm in Lahore, as well as other central and high parts of the country during the current week with occasional gaps.
According to a spokesman for the Pakistan’s department of Meteorology, wet currents are continuously penetrating into the upper and central parts of the country and it is also likely that a wave of the West will enter the upper parts on May 28.
Under the influence of this weather system, Windstorm, Rain and Thunder with isolated heavy falls and hailstorm are Expectaed in atocck, chakwal, jhelum, mianwali, sargodha, hafizabad, mandi bahauddin, sialkot, Narowal, okara, okara, lahore, lahore, lahore Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sheikhupura and the Pothhahar region until Saturday with occasional gaps.
Wind storms with rain and thunder from light to moderate in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Finen, Bhakkar, Layyah, Bahawalpur Sahiwal, Pakpattan and Vehari until Friday.
Wind, dust, thunder and hail storm can damage loose structures such as electrical posts, trees, vehicles and solar panels in the affected areas.
Farmers were advised to administer their crop activities while maintaining climatic conditions. Travelers and tourists were also advised to take precautionary measures.
