Only a couple of years ago, Arch Manning was one of the most recruited high school players in the nation and finally decided to bring its potential and high profile name to Austin.

After experiencing a limited game time while supporting Quinn Ewers during his first two years in Texas, Manning opened his first season as a full -time start last weekend.

The 14-7 defeat on Saturday before Ohio State with 170 air yards, a touchdown and an interception ended.

According to the reports, several explorers and more than a dozen representatives of a variety of NFL teams attended the game to obtain a look close to the number 1 selection once projected in the draft next year.

The exaggeration that surrounds Arch, the nephew of the greats of the NFL Peyton and Eli Manning and grandson of the legend of the Saints of New Orleans, Archie Manning, intensified when the 2025 season approached. The explorer suggested that anticipation and hype were, ultimately, a bad service for Manning.

“Honestly, it was a bit difficult to see,” said the explorer. “It has just been more exaggerated. It almost doesn’t matter what I did, I couldn’t have met those expectations. But I will admit that I thought it would be better than him.”

On Monday, Manning recognized his performance, saying: “I have to play better.”

Another talent evaluator gave Manning a more indulgent review, highlighting the “very good” talent in the defensive field of buckers. Other explorers adopted an approach to wait and see, noting that it was still “too early in the process.”

The former New York Jet Explorer, Daniel Kelly, offered an optimistic review of Manning’s Day in Columbus, Ohio, saying he was “really encouraged” for his performance.

“He has shown an improvement in several key areas. He has improved to see the whole field. It is better to go through his progressions and deliver more and third reading. And it is much better to feel the pressure,” Kelly wrote about X. “I noticed several plays against Ohio State, he could leave Danger and not take into account his legs or his height of the laws or that he was at the height of his laws or was able to be able to be able to able to see lateral pressure while being able to follow his pressure.
