LAHORE:
A master court extended the physical prison of YouTuber Saadur Rehman on Tuesday, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, for four more days in a case related to the promotion of online game applications.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) produced the defendant to the judicial magistrate Naeem Wattoo after the completion of its two -day previous loan.
The NCCIA officials requested greater custody to continue the interrogation, granted by the court.
Ducky Bhai was arrested Sunday morning at Lahore airport after a FIR housed by Nccia under the 2016 Electronic Crystation Prevention Law, and relevant sections of the Pakistan Criminal Code.
The case was recorded on August 17 under sections 13 (electronic forgery), 14 (electronic fraud), 25 (spam) and 26 (falsification) of Peca, along with sections 294-B (which offers prize in relation to commerce) and 420 (trap and inducing dishonestly delivery of properties) of the PPC.
According to the FIR, the youtuber supposedly promoted bets of bets and bets. Applications collected millions of users’ rupees but committed fraud.
