EA Sports and CodeMasters have officially revealed F1 25, The last entry in the long official Racing Sim series of Formula 1.
The launch on May 30, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, the main characteristics of this year include the return campaign of the Braking Point campaign, as well as a “significant review” of the popular game mode of my team.
If you are not familiar, the braking point made its last appearance in F1 23 And it is a custom mode of history with original characters and scenes. In F1 25, The fictional team of Konnersport has progressed from the center of the field to being genuine contenders of the championship, but players can expect “a dramatic event” that “throws the team into chaos.”
Although it is certainly not perfect and occasionally quite cheesy, I really enjoyed previous iterations of the braking point, and I hope to see where the story progresses.
The EA press release also details a “significant review” for my team’s mode. The details are thin for now, but it seems that we can expect “new responsibilities before getting behind the wheel like any of the team’s drivers.”
The senior creative director of CodeMasters, Lee Math, has also intervened F1 25 Announcement, saying: “F1 25 It offers more ways for players to experience Formula 1 and run in their own way, from the braking point drama to the headlines in the search for the glory of the world championship.
“This year, there are new opportunities for players to connect, collaborate and compete that we never hope to share more in the coming weeks.”
Attend
This initial announcement does not give much more when it comes to what we can expect in F1 25, making it sound as a rather iterative update to the nominal value. However, the CodeMasters developer will keep the players updated as he approaches us to launch with his series of deep diving videos F1 25. There, we can expect more details about improvements and additions to this year’s game.
We are only two races in season 1 of Formula 1 of the real world at the time of writing, and has already proven to be extremely chaotic. From Mercedes and Williams to surprisingly strong early until Ferrari struggles even with the services of Lewis Hamilton (not to mention a true influx of promising rookie talents in Alpine, Sauber, Haas and Racing Bulls), I am very interested in learning how F1 25 The driver’s classifications will shape.
