In a little cross pollination, Apple presents a set of updates of Apple maps designed, in part, to coincide with the launch of his film Brad Pitt F1.
From this week, Apple Map users can see F1 and characteristics related to the Grand Prize on the Mónaco maps.
More than a decade after a memorably difficult beginning, Apple Maps is now a rich and reliable navigation system that has seen numerous updates. Apple recently added guided walking instructions and detailed experiences of the city that add skins to reference points such as Radio City Music Hall in New York and London Tower Bridge, along with numerous details of the city.
Apple will use many of these updates to improve its Monaco maps for the next Grand Prix race, which extends from May 23 to 25.
Among the improvements related to F1 and Grand Prix are visual updates that take advantage of the experience of the detailed city of Apple Maps. These add a temporary racing track, for example, as well as visualization supports, cars garages and even some Formula 1 race cars (they are small and not particularly detailed).
Apple is also adding 3D updates to the Monaco reference points, including the Monte-Carlo casino, Fairmont Monte Carlo, Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo and the F1 Paddock Club.
Some elements of the Monaco update will remain after the race, but the track, which includes markers for each of the 19 shifts of the race, will disappear when the Grand Prix ends. During the race race, Apple Maps will include real -time updates on deviations and road -related road closures, as well as all catwalks built for spectators.
MAPOO DE LA GREAT FILM
There will also be some F1 Iconography related to the film Brad Pitt, who deals with a former pilot who returns to the races. F1 Open internationally on June 25 and in North America on June 27. As you will have guessed, it is an original Apple movie and will eventually be broadcast on Apple TV Plus. Apple Map users will also find a new special guide for some of the races that appear in the next movie.
This is not the first time that Apple updates its Apple Maps experience for a special event; He has even worked with Formula 1 before. For Formula 1 race last year in Las Vegas, Apple added the track and Apple Maps visualization supports and then eliminated all non -permanent structures after the race.
In spite of everything Apple is adding to Apple Maps for the Grand Prix and F1, we noticed that there is no little Brad Pitt, unless it has been squirrel inside the Monaco map, and you are supposed to look for it as a game of “Where is Waldo?”
