Amid increasing tensions with India, a prominent political leader Faisal Vawda has asked for the National Unity and the Renaissance of the National Action Plan (NAP) as a unified response to what has been described as “false propaganda” that originates in New Delhi.
Speaking in response to recent developments from the entire border, Vawda emphasized that national solidarity must come before everything else, stating: “Pakistan is first, everything else continues. We are united.”
He urged the Government to convene a formal hearing on the National Action Plan, which involves the leadership of all political parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), to send a strong and unified message to the international community.
“This will demonstrate to the world that Pakistan no longer operates in political experiences, and that the entire nation and his communities are firmly behind the armed forces and challenging any external threat,” said the official.
Warning against any hostile action based on erroneous information, the statement warned India that any movement rooted in “lies and deceptions” would be fulfilled with a strong and potentially dangerous response, as has been the case in the past.
His statement occurs when India has suspended the swing of the Indo’s waters with Pakistan after a deadly attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk) occupied by the Indians, who killed 26 tourists and wounded others 17.
The attack, which the police said it injured 17 other people, took place in Pahalgam, a tourist access point that attracts thousands of visitors every summer.
At least 26 people were killed, all men, when the gunmen opened fire against visitors in a popular destination, AFP He informed, citing a list of hospitals of the dead that was verified by the police. It was the most fatal attack in the region against civilians since 2000.
