Senator Faisal Vawda warned that a repression will soon begin against those who conspire against Pakistan and act at the request of foreign powers.
In a shared publication on the social media platform X (previously Twitter), Vawda declared that Pakistan has never tolerated conspiracies in the past and will not do so now. He said that arrests of anti-state elements are imminent.
“I am currently abroad,” he wrote, “but positive news will begin to emerge for Pakistan in May.”
He added that these positive developments would not come from the usual political rooms but “from another place.”
Reiterating his position, Senator Vawda said that conspiracies against Pakistan will be treated firmly, and those involved in backed agendas on the foreigner will face strict action.
Previously, the Federal Government has established a special team under the Law on the Prevention of Electronic Crimes (PECA) 2016 to stop crimes related to social networks.
According to Section 30 of Peca, the team operates under the supervision of the Islamabad Ig Police.
The JIT has gathered substantial evidence that suggests that the defendants were involved in the propagation of propaganda on social networks, contributing to national instability.
More investigations are being carried out to identify additional suspects and take appropriate legal actions in accordance with Pakistan’s laws.
