Lahore: The first left -handed game of Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman, has backed Star Batter and former Captain Babar Azam to function well in the midst of a prevailing bad form.
Babar, who has not yet scored a century since his blow of 151 races against Nepal in August 2023, is under a lot of scrutiny due to his inability to obtain large formats in the formats.
The right-hand batter, who was promoted to open the entries along with Fakhar’s return in the ongoing tri-nation fired by a rasposo 10 out of 23 deliveries in the inaugural match against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Fakhar, who scored from above for the green shirts in his overwhelming defeat of 78 races in the first game of the series against New Zealand, was still sure of the skills of the star batter to find his contact lost with the bat.
“It happens at the Cricket, but Babar’s class and legacy is such that you can’t say much about a game and you’ll see that he will perform in the next matches,” Fakhar said at the press conference after the game on Saturday.
Their comments occur when the hosts suffered a humiliating defeat against the black caps after not chasing the target of 331 races in the game, the first of the trilateral series that also includes South Africa.
“And again, when your day, even your advantage would dodge the goalkeeper and flee for the limit, but if it’s not your day, then you should have seen how well they took the capture of Tayyab [Tahir]”The left -handed mass said.
Fakhar also expressed his disappointment with the exhausting defeat of the national team in the starter of the Tri-series series campaign.
“I am disappointed with the loss, but I am not worried about not scoring a century,” Fakhar said.
The opening batter also thanked fans for a warm reception on his return to the national team.
“I was out of the team for a while, and I am grateful for the love and support I received from everyone on my return,” he concluded.
