Islamabad:
The Immigration Unit of the Federal Research Agency (FIA) arrested four passengers at the New Islamabad International Airport for trying to travel to Lithuania using counterfeit resident cards.
According to a crime agency spokesman, passengers, all Jhelum’s brothers were discharged and detained after their documents increased suspicions during immigration controls.
The incident occurred during the registration process for flight J2144, bound for Baku, Azerbaijan.
The travelers intended to proceed to Lithuania after arriving in Baku. After the inspection, immigration officials found that Lithuanian resident cards were false.
