Shedeur Sanders scored a negative amount of yards in his latest preseason game as a rookie on Saturday, probably leaving him at the bottom of the depth list of the Cleveland Browns Seafood.
The Cleveland Browns’ rookie entered the game in the third quarter and completed three of six passes for 14 yards, while taking five catches for a combined loss of 41 yards against the Rams. Therefore, he scored -27 yards for Cleveland, before being taken from the game in the final unit and replaced by veteran Tyler Huntley. Huntley led Browns’ offensive in a game of the game winning game, since the Browns won 19-17.

It was far from the first preseason game of Sanders against the Carolina Panthers on August 8, when he launched for two TouchDowns and was praised by fans and sports stars alike, including LeBron James and Dawn Staley.
However, many fans and experts quickly defended Sanders for their rough departure on Saturday, and blamed the Browns training for putting Sanders in a position in which he had to trust the backed team classmates, while calling questionable plays.
The former NFL field marshal, Derek Carr, questioned why Sanders did not stay in the game to finish the last trip.
“I need to understand why we can’t see Sheders Sanders run this 2 -minute drill? Wouldn’t you want to see your young QB operate in this situation? Obtain more repetitions for the future? I didn’t see the whole game, so maybe I already showed enough? Help to understand this …” Carr wrote in X.
Sanders himself even told journalists after the game that he did not believe that he was not allowed to stay in the game to finish the final trip.
“I didn’t know I was out,” Sanders said. “I was lighting for that two minutes trip, because that is just the situation for which each quarter is he dreams.”
The Browns chief coach Kevin Stefanski was asked why Sanders was taken for the final trip.
“Obviously, we don’t play very well as an offensive in the second half and that is not in a person, so we could be better in a lot of areas. I felt we wanted to get [Huntley] In that way, “Stefanski said.
The presenter of the Skip Bayless Sports Interviews published a 16 -minute complaint in Defense of Sanders in X, while condemning the Browns for their management of the field marshal.
“They sabotaged him, they manipulated him against him today, placing him with the third and fourth trine, the fifth chain, you did not receive a shot in the field marshal,” Bayless said.
Other users on social networks leveled criticism similar to Browns, and some speculate that the obstacles that are in front of the field marshal are intentional.
A user wrote: “I hope that Shedeur Sanders eventually ends in a good list with a coach who wants and believes in him. It is so obvious that this league, and even the Browns, in a sense, have been trying to send him a message from the Draft & is frankly unpleasant.”
“So Kevin Stefanski gives Dillon Gabriel easy and short routes with maximum protection. And then he gives Shedeur Sanders Bulls, he plays with an OL that seems to simply ate a little debbie’s gang,” a user wrote.
Another user wrote: “The Cleveland Browns have Shedeur Sanders operating with tight wide receiver formations. But with Dillion Gabriel the receivers extended.”

A user wrote: “Sanders did everything alone, but backups cannot block anyone or catch. [He] Avoid multiple catches and hits the WR on the right in the numbers, but it falls! Can Shedeur overcome a support cast of future insurance sellers? ”
Another user wrote “[I don’t know] Why the Browns wrote Shedeur Sanders. It is clear that the day they are not giving him the same plays as Dillion and in addition to that they took him with people who work in stores next week. It feels like an SMH configuration- How is a fair evaluation? ”
However, many other fans on social networks blamed Sanders and defended the Browns for how they have handled the young Quarterback.
The presenter of the Jason Whitlock sports interview program was a figure to hold Sanders.
Other users echoed similar feelings.
“The Browns are not preparing Shedeur to fail. The game he calls coincides with the strengths of the list. Gabriel reads faster and executed today.
Another user wrote: “The Shedeur Army is full of 20 -year -old crazy young people who think that everything is a conspiracy. Taking bad sacks is not a conspiracy. Choosing running out of limits for a loss of four yards instead of simply throwing it from the limits is not a conspiracy.”
Family hall Eric Dickerson It increased conspiracy theories related to Sanders in a recent interview, claiming that NFL teams “said it would not” write Sanders to “make an example” of the field marshal when he fell to the fifth round of the NFL draft in April.

“I tell you this, what I heard from someone who is in the NFL [is] that the NFL told him [teams] “Do not write it, do not write it,” Dickerson said in an interview in the “Roggin and Rodney” program at AM 570 La Sports on Thursday.
“‘We are going to give an example of him.’ And this came from a very good source, a very good source. I mean, look, the NFL has all kinds of power.
Sanders’ landslide outside the first round surprised many, including President Trump, who sent a position about Truth Social condemning the league owners for passing to the field marshal.
“What happens to the owners of the NFL, are stupid? Deion Sanders was a great university soccer player, and was even greater in the NFL. He is also a very good coach, streetwise and intelligent! Therefore, Shedeur, his son of Marshal, has phenomenal genes and is all ready,” Trump wrote. “It should be” chosen “immediately by a team that wants to win. Good luck Shedeur, and greet your wonderful father!”
ESPN presenter Stephen A. Smith revealed a text message from an associate who compared the situation with Colin Kaepernick that was out of the NFL since 2016, which suggests “collusion.”
“‘This is a bad aspect for the NFL. This feels like a collusion at the Kaepernick level,” Smith said about the content of the text, adding that the situation goes beyond the “evaluation of talent.”
“All hard work that the NFL League office performs to eradicate this type of perceptions, just to turn around and see how the owners seem to be colluding, ruining everything. What has been done to Shedeur will eclipse everything else in this draft. We will never believe that this is just a talent evaluation again.”

Sanders was finally taken by the Browns on the third and last day of the Draft with the 144 team. Initially, the field marshal was considered a possible contender for the first general selection at the beginning of the Draft process after finishing his last season in Colorado.
But now, Sanders seems prepared to start his NFL career in the depth table, since he currently appears as the fourth field marshal on the Cleveland list.
Even so, Sanders seemed safe from his future with the Browns. When journalists asked him if he hopes to make the team’s list after the final cuts on Saturday, the field marshal responded “obviously.”
