The decision-making of the Pittsburgh Steelers coach, Mike Tomlin, was subject to scrutiny at the end of the 24-21 team victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland, Sunday.

The Steelers could frustrate any possibility that Carson Wentz leads the Vikings in the field to at least join the game and send it on extra time. The defense almost ended the game in Wentz’s first release, but James Pierre could not control the interception until it was out of the limits.

Pittsburgh committed two other penalties on the final trip, but defensive Back dishon Elliott was able to knock down the final launch.

Tomlin’s apparent confidence in his defense caused some dismay among fans who tuned on Sunday morning to see the game.

The Steelers corridor, Kenneth Gainwell, could not get the first attempt with 1:08 remaining in the game. Aaron Rodgers put the offensive in the scrimmage line in the fourth attempt, but the Steelers decided to take the penalty of game delay and take off the ball instead of going through the 40 Yarad line of the Vikings.

It worked in the game, but fans were not happy with the decision.

Anyway, the Steelers improved 3-1 in the season, while the Vikings fell 2-2.

Rodgers had 18 of 22 with 200 air yards and a touchdown pass to DK Metcalf. He was just fired twice. Gainwell had 99 yards by land and two touchdowns.

Metcalf led Pittsburgh with five trapped for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Wentz had 30 of 46 with 350 aerial yards, two touchdown passes and two interceptions. The defense arrived in Wentz six times. Justin Jefferson had 10 trapped for 126 yards and Jordan Addison had four trapped for 114 yards.
