Lexar has launched two new SD cards, the Gold SDXC UHS-II and Armor Silver Pro SDXC UHS-II, establishing new durability standards in flash storage.
Stainless steel SD cards are designed to withstand extreme conditions while offering high speed performance for professional photo editors and video editing software.
With a stainless steel construction instead of plastic, the Lexar Armor series is 37 times stronger than standard SD cards, which offers superior resistance to flexion, break and against overheating and static electricity for reliable use in challenging environments.
Reinforced design for maximum durability
This new series comes with an IP68 rating, which makes them dusty, waterproof and capable of resisting drops of up to 5 meters (16 feet).
Simplified design eliminates traditional ribs and writing protection switch, further improving its structural integrity.
Beyond durability, the Armor Gold model offers writing speeds up to 210 MB/s, while the Silver Pro reaches 160 MB/s, and both support transfer speeds of up to 280 MB/s with a USB 3.2 card reader for rapid file transfers.
Both cards meet the Speed Class 60 (V60) video standard, which allows 6K high -resolution video recording without delay.
