Islamabad:
The FBR has imposed a 10 percent processing rate on Afghan traffic trade.
According to an FBR notification, the electronic rate will be applied to five new categories of products, including agricultural tools, cranes, electronic junk and data machines.
The sources said the Ministry of Commerce recommended the introduction of a bank guarantee and processing rate to avoid the exploitation of the lowest customs tasks of Afghanistan.
The government has launched an offensive against illegal trade under the appearance of Afghan traffic. The policy aims to improve tax collection and promote transparency.
