FBR will spend RS180m on computer stationery

In a surprising dissemination, the Procurement Plan of the Federal Income Board (FBR) for fiscal year 2025-26, revealed on Thursday, shows that RS180.36 million of a total of RS560 million will be spent only on the purchase of computer stationery.

According to the documents of the Procurement Plan published by the FBR, RS5 million have been allocated to soft drinks, including tea and cookies served during official meetings.

The fuel for official vehicles will cost the 35 million RS35 million, while more than RS20 million have been assigned for vehicle maintenance.

Expenses related to visits from foreign delegations have been budgeted at RS10 million. Similarly, telephone calls and trunk will cost the FBR RS16.7 million.

A amount of RS180.36 million will be spent only in the purchase of computer stationery. It is estimated that RS70 million will be spent on hardware repairs, while RS19.8 million for FBR security have been assigned.
