ISLAMABAD:

The newly created Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has published its first list of cases, formally beginning judicial proceedings in the newly created higher judicial forum.

Three FCC courts will begin hearing cases this week. FCC Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan will start hearing the cases from Monday (today), while Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will also start the proceedings.

A separate two-member bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice KK Agha will also start hearing cases from today. It is worth noting that on Friday, CJ Aminuddin Khan issued his first major administrative order appointing key officials to the court.
