Hyderabad:
The judge of the Supreme Court, Salahuddin Panhwar, has lamented that the feudal system, bandits and drugs have accumulated and paralyze people in Sindh.
When heading to the legal fraternity in the lawyer association of the Uumerkot district, the judge said that the divisions of Larkana and Sukkur have been trapped by the tentacles of the feudal lords and the bandits, while the drug culture has swept the districts of the divisions of Hyderab and Mirpurkhas.
“Generations are being destroyed,” he lamented. “The lives of common people and families are being destroyed.” He argued that if the survival stories of such people are shared with people in the civilized and developed world, the latter will be surprised to see how their human partners can stay alive in such situations.
The judge also deplored that the cases of illegal occupation land also often occur in Sindh despite the fact that this problem has ceased to exist in other parts of the world. He said that the Cooperative Societies Law was legislated to favor poor people, workers and peasants, but that their advantage is currently being taken by the rich.
He also commented on the quality of education in SINDH, noting that in the digital age UMRKOT students do not have access to computers to study. “Two classes have been created in Sindh. The poor send their children to government schools and the other classes educate their children in the private sector.”
Judge Panhwar regretted that society has committed instead of pursuing and ensuring their rights. He urged judges, lawyers, journalists and other important segments of society to try to realize the problems that affect people and base their decisions on the truth. “Our decisions should be focused on the public, take care of the fundamental rights of people.”
On the occasion, the president of the District Bar Association, Shareef Bheel, presented a letter of demands, requested actions against narcotics, providing health and education facilities, establishing sports land and controlling the law and the deteriorated order. The Judge of the Apex court also visited some schools and universities.
