The Federal Research Agency (FIA) has published the 13th edition of its “Red Book”, a 165 -page document that provides details of the most Vantos human smuggers.
Interestingly, the red book also lists seven women traffickers among the most won: four in the Islamabad area, two from Lahore and one from Gujranwala.
According to the document, the FIA currently seeks 143 human smuggers sought in several cases of smuggling and human trafficking. The cases against these traffickers have been recorded in the antihuman traffic circles of the FIA throughout the country. As for the area, 70 are sought in Gujranwala, 25 in Islamabad, 14 in Lahore, 13 in Faisalabad, 10 in Karachi, 6 in Kohat, 3 in fine and 1 in Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the FIA, 51 of the most Wantados smuggers named in the Red Book of 2023 have been arrested so far. Special repression is being carried out to stop the remaining people, with dedicated incursion equipment trained for this purpose.
The authorities confirmed that the national identity cards and the passports of these more Wantados human smuggers have been included in the blacklist, while red warnings have been issued for those who have fled abroad.
Special human smuggled cells have been formed throughout the country to carry out repression, while red notices have also been issued for the arrest of those who hide abroad.
“This significant effort has been orchestrated by FIA. The anti-human smuggling address, parked at the FIA headquarters, dedicated substantial efforts to accumulate data from several antihuman traffic circles within the FIA, meticulously presenting it in a book form, he said.
He said that over the years, the federal government, together with the provincial governments, has taken a series of measures to combat the generalized issue of smuggling and migrants traffic in people.
These efforts cover a five -year national action plan, the establishment of the prevention of the smuggling of the 2018 Migrant Law and the prevention of the 2018 People Traffic Law, together with the formulation of associated regulations.
The activation of traffic in the committees of people (TIP) at the national, provincial and district level, together with the constitution of an inter-agency task force (IATF), has happened to reinforce the prosecution, the victims of safeguards and the cooperation to promote.
He said that the FIA in collaboration with international partners and civil society organizations has embarked on a robust program aimed at improving the construction of the agencies for the application of the law and the relevant departments.
“This initiative covers the initiative dialogues and public awareness campaigns with cables. The establishment of the data collection and analysis, as well as a dedicated research unit within the FIA antihuman (AHS) smuggling address, demonstrates its commitment,” he added.
