FIA seeks the traffic of Pachistani women to China

The Islamabad airport authorities arrested three suspects involved in a network trafficking network that attracted Pakistani women to forced marriages and smuggled them to China, said the Federal Research Agency (FIA).

According to FIA sources, suspects were identified as Shougui (Yousuf), Abdul Rehman and Muhammad Nauman. A young woman who was being trafficked was also carried in protective custody, said Express News.

The suspects were intercepted while trying to take the victim to China on flight CZ6034, under the pretext of marriage and employment opportunities. Initial investigations revealed that the network facilitated marriages between Pakistani women and Chinese citizens as part of a traffic operation.

The gang, which includes several women, aimed at impoverished and vulnerable women, which leads them to marriage. The researchers found that the suspects organized travel and logistics documents for the victims.

The key agents, Abdul Rehman and Muhammad Nauman, maintained contact with a Chinese associate named Paul, who organized “clients” in exchange for large sums of money.

The authorities also discovered that the suspects had reached an agreement with the victim’s mother for PKR 1 million, of which 150,000 pkr had already been paid. In addition, they had forced the victim to sign a loan bonus of 1 million PKR for blackmail purposes.

The three suspects have been transferred to the Islamabad antihuman traffic cell for greater investigation, while efforts are being made to stop other members of the traffic network.
