COAS says Pakistan seeks regional peace, but any violation of its territorial integrity will face decisive response

Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that “all necessary measures” are being taken against Indian-sponsored proxies (Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij) involved in propagating anti-people and anti-development agendas with malicious intent to perpetrate violence in Balochistan.
“All necessary actions are being taken to hunt down these terrorists and rid the province of this menace,” reaffirmed the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) while interacting with the participants of the 17th Balochistan National Workshop, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS reiterated that Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability; However, any violation of its territorial integrity, whether direct or indirect, will receive a firm and decisive response to safeguard the life and well-being of its citizens.
During the interaction, Field Marshal Munir said: Balochistan is the pride of Pakistan, endowed with a vibrant, resilient and patriotic people who represent the true wealth of the province.

The ISPR added that the army chief highlighted the initiatives of the federal and provincial governments aimed at improving the socio-economic landscape of Balochistan through a people-centric approach. He highlighted the importance of taking advantage of the province’s immense economic potential for the benefit of its people.
The COAS also recognized the constructive role of civil society, particularly in youth participation and empowerment, and underlined its critical role in sustainable development. He said their active participation is crucial to counter the created political agendas and ensure long-term prosperity in Balochistan.
