Zack Wheeler will lose at least some of his next scheduled beginnings after the Philadelphia philis placed his ACE in the 15 -day injured list on Saturday after learning of a blood clot diagnosis.
Dave Dombrowski, president of Baseball Operations of the Filis, said the blood clot is near Wheeler’s shoulder.
A schedule for the return of three times MLB All-Star was not established.

While Wheeler’s reverse will force Philis to make adjustments, the team is also preparing to welcome Aaron Nola to their rotation.
