Each team that entered the 2005 NCAA Male Tournament will play in the Final Four in San Antonio.
The four seeds No. 1 on the support that reaches the Final Four are a rarity. 17 years have passed since the first time it happened in the history of the tournament. Coincidentally, San Antonio was also the host city when North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA and Memphis were classified for the semifinals in 2008.

No. 1 Auburn survived against the second Spartanos of the state of Michigan in Atlanta on Sunday night to finish the sweep for the best seeds for the second time in the history of March Madness.

Earlier on Sunday, No. 1 Houston defeated Tennessee in Indianapolis to hit his ticket to the semifinals. On Saturday, Florida, better sown, contained No. 3 Texas Tech to advance to the Final Four. Duke later took care of the business against Alabama.

In the first not everything. 1 Seeds edition of the Final Four, Kansas defeated North Carolina, while Memphis eliminated UCLA in 2008. The 20 Darrell Arthur points took the Jayhawks, while the star guard Mario Chalmers added 18 points to help take Kansas to a 75-68 victory over Memphis and ensure the national title.

More than a year after the appearance in the Tigres championship game, the NCAA infractions committee announced that Memphis would be forced to leave his 2007-08 record due to rules of rules. Memphis was also placed in a three -year probation. The punishment arose from an investigation by Derrick Rose and its eligibility.
In what will be the confrontation of a couple of Enemies SEC, Florida and Auburn will meet in the first of the two semifinal games. That game will be followed by Houston and Duke.
The winner of each of these contests will advance to the national championship game. The Final Four begins on April 5 at the Alaminome in San Antonio.
