- Disney+ finally allows you to eliminate elements from your ‘Continue seeing’ list
- The transmission service says it is a “highly anticipated global update”
- It is being implemented first for Apple TV and iOS, with more platforms that arrive in the coming weeks
I transmit a lot Dream productionsOr to watch a classic movie, but sometimes I also moved away in the middle of a television episode or a movie. And that leads to a fairly full list in ‘Continue looking’ that is not in any particular order.
It also means that when I start a new program, maybe Marvel last, and ended up hating him, unfortunately stays. But that will not be the case for a long time: Disney+ is answering our collective prayers and will allow us to edit the list to eliminate that program.
That unfortunate transmission will soon be nothing more than a bad memory, and will not pursue its new transmission content efforts.
The transmission giant said it was a “highly anticipated global update”, and that it is starting to be implemented now on a large number of platforms, including television and mobile devices. In a nutshell, it is one of the best changes in the recent history of one of the best transmission services.
At the beginning it is being implemented in Apple TV and iOS, with other platforms following in the coming weeks. And these are the best news: it is very easy to start with the elimination of content of your continuing list. This means that you will not be caught for much longer with that movie you made hate after five minutes.
There are four ways to eliminate the content of its ‘continuous surveillance list’
Disney+ has devised two ways to eliminate the content of this automatic surveillance list, so we break down the first.
When you are on the start page of the streamer mobile application and see your ‘Continue’ bar, you can simply navigate and select the program or movie and select the three points next to the name. From there, you will play “remove” to see it disappear. This goes for your entire profile within your Disney+account.
If you are on the web, the title will pass and you will see the option to eliminate, a circle with a line in the middle, such as Ecuador, appears, just touch that and will be deleted.
On the TV, since you cannot touch it, you will navigate to the bar title and press long to reveal the elimination function. You will ask you to confirm if you want to delete the title from the list and you can approve the action.
Alternatively, if you are on the detail page for the television program or the movie and you are on its ‘Continue’ surveillance list, you will see the elimination icon next to play/start, resume or save at the end. You can simply select that icon to remove it from the list.
Disney+ certainly facilitated it and launched several ways to achieve it. The only hope is that people without an iOS or Apple TV 4K device will soon receive updates on their various platforms.
In the statement announcing the change, Disney+ also explains that if you see content in your observation list that you do not remember to have reproduced, you can appear if you share your account with another person who uses the same profile. Remember, with a single Disney+account, you can create up to seven profiles. Of course, it could also be a reminder of the people who shared their account before Disney+ and other transmission services began to take energetic measures in the exchange of accounts.
Even so, this is excellent news. Finally, it will allow you to clean your ‘continuous surveillance list’ without having to look through all the content or simply start other programs and movies with the hope of pushing other pieces of content further back.
It should save us from many headaches, and hope we see other highly requested characteristics that come that allow us to obtain even more out of Disney+.
More than this, please, Disney!
