Rawalpindi:
Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is completely safe and invincible, says the main military spokesman, who warns that seeking conflict with a nuclear energy established for elusive objectives will be pure stupidity.
In an interview, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that India is involved in promoting terrorism as part of an organized conspiracy to destabilize and interrupt security in Pakistan, particularly in Baluchistan.
General Chaudhry, the general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), explained that the term Fitna al-Khawarij refers to armed groups that attack the armed forces and the state of Pakistan, while the term Fitna al-Hindustan is used to describe the terrorists, which are supported by India.
The nefarious intentions of India are part of an organized conspiracy to destabilize and interrupt security in Pakistan, particularly in Baluchistan, the DG ISPR told Al Jazeera TV in an exclusive interview.
India had adopted terrorism sponsored by the State as a policy against Pakistan, he added, while commenting on the explosion of bombs last month in Waziristan in which 16 soldiers hugged martyrdom, while more than 20 people suffered injuries, according to Al Jazeera TV.
The attack was claimed by Fitna al-Khawarij, a reference to Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), he said. Pakistan has a clear position that India is directly involved in these attacks, he added. “India is not only supporting but also financing terrorist activities in Pakistan.”
The ISPR chief explained that the term Khawarij referred to armed groups that attacked the armed forces and the state of Pakistan. “The current Fitna al-Khawarij is a continuation of the wrong ideology that has historically led to the murder of Muslims under a false religious narrative,” he said.
In Islam, the DG ISPR continued, the right to Jihad or armed conflict falls only to the state: no individual, organization or group is authorized to declare it. “Fitna al-Khawarij has no connection with Islam, Humanity, Pakistan or Pakistani traditions,” he said.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said the term Fitna al-Hindustan was used in Pakistan to describe terrorists, who were supported by India. “Fitna al-Hindustan is particularly active in the destabilization of the country, especially in the province of Baluchistan,” he said.
“Even the political leadership of India has admitted several times to support terrorism within Pakistan,” he said, added that even the United States and Canada “have also recognized” the “terrorism in an Indian state, he said.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor of India (NSA), was the intellectual author behind the terrorism network sponsored by the Indian State. He declared that any aggression against Pakistan would be a threat to regional stability.
He made it clear that Pakistan was a responsible nuclear energy and declared that his nuclear program was completely sure. “Our nuclear capacity is invincible and nobody can dare to address our nuclear program,” he added.
The main military spokesman also addressed broader geopolitical problems, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for Iran. “In the context of recent conflict, Pakistan’s support for Iran has focused mainly on the principles, based on the UN Charter, International Law and the laws of armed conflict,” he said.
When asked if there was any concern in the Army that Pakistan could be the next goal after recent developments in Iran, he denied such a notion. “Absolutely no concern in the Army that Pakistan can become the next goal, absolutely no concern,” he emphasized.
He said there was a “sea of difference” between Pakistan and these two countries. “We are established and declared nuclear energy, and the world has no experience in going, or even trying to enter, a misfortune against established nuclear energy,” he said.
“If such misadventure is taken or tried, it will lead to horrible consequences that the world may not be able to endure. Therefore, I have said it before and I will say it again very clearly: looking for military space or conflict space with a nuclear energy established for elusive objectives is absurd, pure stupidity and inconvincible.”
