LAHORE: Finen Sultans won the raffle and chose to hit Peshawar Zalmi in the 25th Super League Party of Pakistan (PSL) 10 in the fine Crickt Stadium on Monday.

Despite the historical domain of fine on Peshawar with an impressive 11 victories in 16 games, this season has painted a different image for both sides.

The Sultans are languishing at the bottom of the table with only an eight -game victory and a net execution rate of -2,597, while Zalmi occupies the fifth position with three victories of seven games and a net execution rate of -0.507.

This meeting marks the second meeting between these teams in PSL 2025, with its previous clash, which resulted in an overwhelming victory of 120 races for Peshawar Zalmi in Party 9, a marked investment of the traditional dynamics from head to head.

That result personified the sad campaign of the Sultans, which has seen them mathematically eliminated from the containment of playoffs, regardless of their performances in their remaining two accessories.

On the contrary, Peshawar Zalmi maintains the thin hope of reaching the playoffs, but must win the remaining three games while waiting for other results to continue their way.
