The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurengzeb, announced plans on Sunday to reduce the financial charge of the salaried class in the next budget.

His comments occurred days after thousands of government employees organized a demonstration of protest in Islamabad, demanding the withdrawal of pension reforms and the increase in sale and assignments.

During his interaction with journalists in Lahore, the Minister of Finance highlighted positive economic indicators, including an increase in remittance senders to 35 million and an increase in Roshan digital accounts tickets.

Aurengzeb emphasized the vital role of the private sector in promoting the country’s economic progress, stating that currency reserves were constantly growing, Pakistan radio reported.

The minister also expressed his commitment to support the construction industry while guaranteeing real estate game activities.

A day before, the financial tsar said that the government movement to expand the tax base reduced the load of the national treasure.

Speaking in Faisalabad, the financial tsar said that Pakistan’s economy is moving towards improvement, driven by key reforms.

Aurengzeb emphasized that a lower policy rate has also benefited business owners and ongoing economic stability measures were producing positive results. He also reiterated that inflation has decreased to a single digit, providing relief to the public.

The finance minister stressed that recent tax reforms had significantly increased income. When addressing concerns about the search for assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said that sustainable governance cannot depend solely on charity, emphasizing the importance of a strong economic framework.

Aurengzeb further stressed the need for a public-private sector to promote economic growth, stating that working together is crucial for long-term progress.
