The Islamabad International Airport has achieved a significant milestone with the launch of its first load flights from China.

According to Express News, Urumqi’s first load flight, operated by SF Airlines, arrived at Islamabad airport with more than 25 tons of goods. The Chinese delegation was well received by the Director of Operations (COO) and the APTAB GILANI Airport Manager.

In a statement, AFTAB Gilani stressed that two load flights will work weekly, with the possibility of greater expansion in the future while emphasizing that this initiative will strengthen commercial relations between Pakistan and China, two countries with long -standing links.

Gilani also mentioned that the beginning of load flights would not only increase trade, but also lead to an increase in loading positions, resulting in a significant increase in income for the authority of the Pakistan airport.

This development is expected to improve connectivity between Pakistan and China, further facilitating the movement of goods and strengthening economic collaboration between the two nations.
