A Google representative has communicated to confirm the problem with the Fitbit application is now solved. Everyone should now be able to log in to their accounts and synchronize their physical conditioning trackers again.
This is what happened
- A few hours ago, the reports began to emerge in Reddit and Downetector that Fitbit users, regardless of which Fitbit or Google Pixel Watch device they really possessed, were experiencing synchronization problems with the application.
- Not only that, but users followed Fitbit’s ‘help’ steps by uninstalling and reinstalling the application, they could not start their accounts again.
- This meant any information that its physical conditioning tracker was collecting was not adding to its existing data group.
- The updated Fitbit status page to inform its users that there was a generalized problem, and Iracios users went to Reddit to express their disgust.
- Fortunately, a solution and Users can now log in. If you still have problems, you are likely to receive a solution soon.

Months ago, a similar interruption reached the best Garmin watches, which lasted for several days, and we experienced a frustration protest of Garmin users.
As a user of Garmin, I remember how much I trusted my Garmin during marathon training and during the events in themselves, since tools such as the virtual pacemaker and the heart rate areas kept me aimed at hitting (or at least failing) my goals on the day of the race. The idea of having my career clock crashed into me the day of the race, after working towards that moment for months, it simply could not stand to think.
Fitbit users are suffering a similar problem today, and I cannot avoid feeling the people who trust that current of their wrist information during the events and competitions of great life, not only the daily users who seek to sleep and steps accounts. As a runner, I used that information as a tool during my training: only now I realized that the tool became a crutch.

How to fix your fitbit application
Honestly? It seems that the solution is “doing nothing and tries to log in later.”
Fitbit is deploying a solution, but it seems to be a slow process, and some users cannot log in. However. is Feeding, so if you can not synchronize your clock or physical conditioning tracker, or you cannot log in to your application, do not worry, try a training without a contract for a change and withdraw where you left it once the solution has reached. Who knows? You can enjoy the lack of responsibility that comes with the fitness clock.
Closed incident – for some …
The official state page of Fitbit now reports the incident as “closed”, indicating that the solution is being implemented to users and the interruption is over, which is aligned with those disappointing decreasing reports.
However, according to our email input tray and Reddit reports, many people still cannot return to their accounts. For these people, we have to assume that a solution is imminent, but let us know if the problem persists.
Reader email: some people are still affected
A reader, sent by email to tell us that they are not yet back in the application, despite the solution that is apparently being implemented.
“Yes, I’m affected. I can’t synchronize the application, now I can’t log in.”
This despite the descent reports shown below, which seem to indicate that the worst is behind us. Breathe!
We are back! of R/Fitbit
Are we back? A user has just published that he can log in once again with his regular details, with others that move in which he is working.
However, other users are stating that they still cannot access their application, so it is clear that the solution is slowly implemented in the user base.
That is reassuring news for Fitbit fans, but it is useful to know how fast this solution is being implemented. If you are still being affected by the interruption (or the registration of an important event or training was lost), send us an email in the previous address.
Is there anything wrong with my fitbit?
Probably not. Whether you have an old Fitbit High, a Cheap and Cerato Fitbit Inspire 3 or a Google Pixel Watch 3 first line, do not scare: your real device is probable that you are fine, even if you are not synchronizing with your application. It seems that there is no need to restart or play with your Fitbit device, at least until Google comes out with an official solution.
The problem, as mentioned in previous publications, seems to be from the Fitbit application. You can lose some of today’s data as a result of this synchronization problem, but it is too early to understand the complete ramifications of a great interruption like this. However, it is a relief that its best fitness tracker is fine.
An email from a reader
A reader with the handle DZ sent an email to add his voice to our suspicions: “Neither my husband nor I have been able to synchronize our fitbits this morning. We have tried a phone and four different tablets.”
It is interesting to observe that this is a problem that occurs among the devices: because both mobile and web applications are affecting, something is going badly with Fitbit in the back -end.
Therefore, if you are reading this, changing devices and trying to log in to something more likely will not work: the problem comes from your Fitbit account, not the device in which you are starting session.
Official status of Fitbit: “Experience an important interruption”
status.fitbit.com confirms that the API and the web API are experiencing an “important interruption”, with the interruption of the service (not a complete blackout, however) in both channels.
However, it is interesting to observe that the synchronization / pairing of the device is listed as “available” with a green brand, which contrasts with the reports of Reddit users in the previous publication.
