Hogan’s story, and wrestling in general, cannot be told without mentioning what may be the best game in history.

Hogan fought Andre the giant for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan in 1987, and the game ended with a legendary Scoop-Slam from Hogan to Andre, who weighed 525 pounds at that time.

Hogan then gave his leg end signature and covered Andre.

The entire event is still widely considered as WWE’s Pinnacle event, mainly due to this match.

In 1990, Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior were loved by fans, but only one could be considered the best dog.

Then, in Toronto, the two baby sides joined in the ring and put their respective belts on the line: Hogan with the WWF title and the Ultimate Warrior with the Intercontinental Championship.

The last warrior prevailed, giving Hogan his first clean loss of clavicle since 1981.

Wrestlemania VII – Real American

Patriotic Hogan faced a fight with the sergeant. Slaughter, whose character was called Iraqi sympathizer during the Gulf War.

During the game, Slaughter tried to set Hogan while holding the Iraqi flag, but Hogan came out and started it. Hogan then used the eternal drop of leg to win his third championship, and stirred the American flag in the ring as a celebration.

Bash on the beach 1996 – The heel turn

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, with a mysterious partner, were in a label team against Randy Savage, Sting and Lex Luger at the Daytona Beach Wcw event. To everyone’s surprise, Hulk Hogan entered the ring during the game, and many thought he was there to support Savage, Sting and Luger.

However, out of nowhere, Hogan hit Savage with not one, but two drops on his legs, revealing himself as the third partner, turning the heel for the first time and officially forming the new world order (NWO). Then he hit a drop of legs before Hall gave the count of three.

The fans were so angry that they threw debris into the ring.

Wrestlemania X8 – Icon vs. icon

Hogan made sporadic appearances in the WWF, and then WWE, in the early 2000s, but when the company pushed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to be his next upper star, the rock was face to face with a legend.

The decibels in the Rogers de Toronto center reached that of Joe Carter’s Walk-Off Home Run in 1993, since the two faced face to face and infamously turned in both directions to go to the crowd.

Ultimately, the rock came out at the top, which is often a sign of respect for older fighters in the business, but the two shared multiple hugs in the ring and caused the crowd to work in the middle of its sign of unity.
