Five pilgrims from the Umrah Pakistani, including three women, were killed in a tragic bus accident while traveling from Al-Badr to Madinah, confirmed the authorities and rescue of Madinah.
The bus collided with a trailer on the way to the holy city, which resulted in the deaths and wounds of several passengers, all of which were traveling through the Islamic pilgrimage.
The rescue teams responded quickly, transporting the deceased and injured the nearby hospitals. “Among the injured are women, elderly children and pilgrims,” said a rescue source.
The five victims were Pakistani citizens from the Bahawalnagar district in the province of Punjab.
Two of the deceased women were from Village 228/9-R, while the third era of Village 201 Murad. The two male victims were older men, one from village 39/3-R and the other in the city of Dahranwala.
