- Fitbit could be obtaining a new sleep schedule function
- Sleep Lab has leaked in code
- I could give you personalized recommendations for bedtime and the time to wake up based on surveys
The best adjustments could be about to obtain an important sleep update in the form of Sleep Lab, a new filtered feature that could transform the way it monitors and maintain its sleep schedule.
Although Fitbit models currently offer several sleep monitoring metrics in their range, the new Sleep Lab function could give it a more personalized vision of what time you should go to bed and what time you should wake up in the morning.
9TO5GOOGLE informs that the new code found in the last Fitbit application for Android loaded on Google Play Store includes a new “Sleep Need” experiment, with more details in tow. This is what you need to know.
Fitbit’s sleep schedule experiment
According to the report, Fitbit’s new sleep laboratory (or Sleep Need Labs) has three main aspects. Users will answer some questions at different times during the day. Using those answers and their sleep data, Fitbit will calculate how much dream you need every night. With that information, you will obtain personalized recommendations to bed and awaken.
The surveys are conducted in the morning, noon and the night, and will get a 1 hour reminder before your scheduled bedtime.
There will also be sleep debt metrics, as well as integrations to edit your alarms to keep it on time. You will also need to use your fitbit for 5 days to get the need for more precise sleep and sleep debt data.
This sounds like an exciting update that could turn your fitbit into one of the best sleep trackers without the need to invest in something like an intelligent ring or dedicated sleep monitoring products.
This feature is not yet live, but its presence in the Fitbit application code suggests that its launch is imminent, so be attentive to find out when it comes out live.
