While fighting is a regularity in the NHL, there is a low percentage that occurs in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
However, game 3 of the Stanley Cup final saw a total fight in the unequal victory of the Florida Panthers over the Edmonton Oilers to take a 2-1 advantage in the series.
In their first game at home of the best seven series, the Panthers took the most, and the Oilers tried to get physically instead of the scoreboard.

The game was already 5-1 in favor of Florida when things were becoming more chippy on the ice. He reached a different level when Edmonton striker, Trent Federic, began choosing Sam Bennett to the point where he verified him towards the ice, and Bennett retaliates with some blows when he reached the top of Federic.
That initial fight took each player on the ice to find a partner for the duel, and the referees simply let the fight run out. Apart from the fights, Florida exhibited a tremendous offensive hockey from the beginning, while Brad march got angry at a goalkeeper of the oilers, Stuart Skinner, just under a minute after the game.
Marchand became the oldest player in the history of the NHL to score in each of the first three games of the Stanley Cup finals. But he is not the only player who does it on his team in this series.
Sam Bennett joined him in the second period after finding himself in a network escape thanks to Eetu Luostarinen intercepting an Edmonton pass on the blue line.
Bennett went to the right of Skinner, and buried his upper Wrian shelf to take a 4-1 advantage. America Bank Arena went crazy when Bennett’s goal led to an eruption of cheering on and off the ice for panthers.
Verhaeghe also entered the goal column with a goal of power assisted by Rodrigues and Nate Schmidt to enter the costume up 2-0.
