The Pakistan Competition Commission (CCP) approved a joint company between Fly Jinnah Services (PVT) LTD and Air Arabia Academy LLC to establish a new Aviation Training Institute in the country.
The new entity, Fly Jinnah T3 Flight Academy (PVT) LTD, will provide aviation training services in Pakistan. The approval follows a review prior to the fusion under the competition regulations (merger control) 2016.
Both companies will invest in the new company, whose objective is to improve aviation training services in Pakistan.
The PCCH declared that the transaction is internationally and will not affect competition in the sector.
Fly Jinnah operates as a commercial airline, while Air Arabia Academy is dedicated to aviation formation in the EAU.
The Independent Training Institute is expected to improve both availability and the quality of aviation training services in Pakistan.
