Pakistan expressed deep concern over the resurgence of violence in Yemen and strongly opposed unilateral measures by any Yemeni party that could further aggravate the situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday.
Reiterating its long-standing position, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its support for the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen and all efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability in the war-torn country.

The Foreign Ministry said Pakistan also welcomed regional initiatives aimed at de-escalating the situation and maintaining peace and stability in Yemen. He expressed “complete solidarity” with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed his commitment to the security of the Kingdom.
Reaffirming its diplomatic approach, the Foreign Ministry said it strongly supports the resolution of the Yemen issue through dialogue and diplomacy. He expressed hope that the Yemeni people and regional stakeholders will work together to achieve “an inclusive and lasting agreement,” the statement added, underlining the importance of safeguarding regional stability.
