The first ‘Basares Sahuula-on-The-G’ will be established along the roads in Punjab, since Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the project in principle.
By chairing a meeting in which there was an informative session on the project, he sought a plan to establish the bazaars in 14 locations in Lahore under a pilot project. .
The prime minister established a four -month goal for the implementation of the pilot project. According to the plan, government lands will be used along the roads to establish the Bazaes of Sahuula on the Go.
Up to 816 positions will be established under the pilot project.
The participants of the meeting that the bazaar would be established in fine Road, Hujarwal, Manga Mandi, Raiwind, G-1 Market, Faisal Town, Moon Market and Bedian Road were informed. Millat Road, Gulshan Ravi, Shahdara, Shadman and Singh Pura are also included in the project.
Essential edible items will be available for sale in uniforms cabin stores in the bazaars along the roads.
The authorities said arrangements would be made to maintain a clean environment and security in the bazaars.
It was agreed at the meeting that the project would be launched later in each Punjab Tehsil.
The president of the Bazaar Management Company of Punjab, Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, presented a report to the main minister on the scheme. According to a statement, the CM expressed satisfaction on the configuration of model bazaars during Ramazan.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the president of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for a reduction in the electricity rate.
She added: “The story is witnessing the fact that every time Muhammad Nawaz Sharif came to power, he not only took the country out of crises, but also provided a real relief to people.” She stressed: “The reduction of RS7.41 per unit for national consumers and 7.59 per unit for industries is a great economic installation for people suffering from inflation.”
