The former ESPN presenter, Samantha Ponder, made men who perform female and girls sports be clear on Saturday.
Ponder appeared in “Saturday in America” of Pak Gazette Channel with Kayleight Mcenany and talked about his decision to speak against transgender athletes who participate in sports of girls and women. The issue has been discussed in recent years with Lia Thomas winning an NCAA title in 2022, and now the Trump administration requires US schools to comply with title IX.

“There is no way in this country, especially in sports, you should not be able to say in your social media accounts:” I don’t think men should be in women’s sports. “This is something: I speak with athletes all the time, 99.9% of professional athletes, as we know that this is ridiculous,” he said.
“And the fact that we have not been able to say it with courage, but with kindness and some of humility, it is crazy. It is crazy that we have reached this point in sports that we cannot be honest about what is true and not be a moron about it, but say: ‘Yes, you are not putting a man in my daughter’s costume. It is not happening.'”

The transgender athletes in sports of girls and women continued to be an important issue in 2025. President Donald Trump signed an executive order that prohibits men from competing in sports of girls and women in February. Since then, several states have managed the nose in the order.
In particular, the sports of California high school continue to be a seedbed of discussion, since a transgender athlete has competed in athletics and volleyball of girls.
