Former women’s soccer players at Boston University defend the coach in the midst of sexual harassment claims

According to the reports, a contingent of former women’s soccer players from Boston has been spoken in defense of former chief coach Nancy Feldman in the midst of sexual harassment claims of Podcaster Alex Cooper.

Cooper made the initial claims in his documentary of calling him Alex “Hulu, which premiered last week. He explained more how he felt about his time in the football program in a subsequent question and answers session after the film debuted.

After the university issued a statement on Friday, TMZ Sports acquired a letter from a 99 -former student from Boston University who spoke in support of Feldman. The letter said they had no intention of “decreasing or discrediting anyone’s individual experience,” but felt it was necessary to support Feldman.

The students said “categorically they never felt insecure.”

“We never went at risk or witnesses of inappropriate behavior or anything that could be characterized as sexual harassment,” said the letter, through TMZ Sports. “As a leader, he approached every day with professionalism, making decisions in the service of the team’s success.”

The 30 -year -old said that the coach had asked about her sex life, commented on her body, tried to spend time with her and touched her. Feldman “would notice me much more than any other teammate,” Cooper said.

“I felt a lot of anger: it will go for my coach, go for my school and anger at the system that allowed this to happen,” Cooper said in the documentary.

Cooper and his parents said they had met with the university, that he had not fired Feldman, had not investigated the statements and had allowed Cooper to keep his scholarship.

The University issued a statement on Friday, saying that it has “zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment.”

“We have a robust system of resources, support and personnel dedicated to the well -being of the students and a process of exhaustive reports through our office of equal opportunities,” he said in a statement, through the New York Post.

“We encourage the members of our community to inform any concern, and continue to promote a safe campus environment for all.”

Cooper played for the University from 2013 to 2015 before becoming a podcast host. She and her former roommate began the podcast “call her dad” who was finally collected by Barstool sports.
