Four drivers, martyred driver in attack in Di Khan

At least five people, including four tax personnel, were martyred when their vehicle was attacked in the district of Ismail Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Express News reported Sunday.

According to the commissioner Diaran, the Levies team was ambushed while heading to recover a stolen vehicle in Tehsil Daraan. A private driver who accompanies the officers was also killed in the attack.

The bodies of the murdered personnel and the driver were transferred to the Hospital Daraman. The security forces have launched an investigation, but no group has assumed the responsibility of the attack.

The Pakistan security forces have been carrying out generalized operations about terrorism, particularly in KP and Baluchistan, which are bordered by Afghanistan.

On Saturday, the military media wing, public relations between services (ISPR), reported that 23 militants were killed in separate operations in Baluchistan. The operations were also charged with the life of 18 soldiers of the Frontier body (FC) in Mangocher during an attempt to eliminate militant obstacles.

Reacting to the operations of Baluchistan, the head of the Army personnel (COA), General Syed also Munir, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eliminate terrorist groups, calling them “representatives of foreign teachers.”

“Those who act as terrorist representatives and disguise themselves as friends are well known to us,” Munir said during a visit to Baluchistan.
