Seven terrorists backed by India were killed in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while four security personnel, including a young officer, hugged martyrdom in a fire exchange, the military media wing on Thursday reported.

According to Public Relations between Services (ISPR), on the night of May 28 to 29, ‘Khwarij’ sponsored by the Indians tried to attack a security forces in the general area of ​​Shawal in the Northern Wazirist district.

“The own troops effectively frustrated the attempt and, during the intense exchange of fire, six khwarij sponsored by the Indians were sent to hell,” said the ISPR.

However, four soldiers, including Lieutenant Daniyal Ismail (24, Mardan resident), were martyred in the commitment. The other three soldiers who paid the final sacrifice were identified as Naib Subedar Kashif Raza (42, Chakwal), Lance Naik Fiaqat Ali (35, Haripur) and Sepoy Muhammad Hameed (26, Abbottabad).

In a separate meeting in the Chitral district, security forces “successfully neutralized another Khwarij sponsored by the Indians.” The ISPR said that disinfecting operations are ongoing to eliminate any other Kharji sponsored by the Indians in the area.

He reiterated the commitment of the military to eradicate Pakistan’s terrorism. “Security forces are still determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians,” Ispr added.
