A collision between two passenger buses, a water tanker and a cargo truck took place on the Super Highway on the route from Hyderabad to Karachi, leaving one person dead and 15 injured.
According to Edhi officials, the accident involved four vehicles, including two passenger buses, a water tanker and a cargo truck. One person was reported dead and more than 15 injured.
Rescue officials stated that most of the injured are being treated at a private hospital on the Super Highway, while several others are being shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Edhi ambulances and volunteers are actively involved in rescue operations at the scene and efforts are being made to identify the deceased and injured.
Earlier, at least 17 people lost their lives and 37 others were injured in two separate tragic accidents on Monday morning when a van and a truck collided near Moro town in Sindh, while a bus overturned in Attock district. in Punjab.
In Attock, a bus moving fast from Bahawalpur to Islamabad overturned near Fateh Jang on CPEC route due to the driver’s negligence. The accident left 10 dead and 22 injured in its wake.
Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 and highway police officers quickly arrived. The bodies and the injured were transported to the Central Tehsil Hospital at Fateh Jang.
In another incident near Moro in Sindh, seven people, including four children, were killed and up to 15 injured when a van collided with a truck near Naushahro Feroze town.
According to police, the families were returning from a wedding in Hyderabad when the accident occurred, caused by thick fog on the ring road.
Six people died at the scene, while the seventh died on the way to hospital.
