Fox Sports, Barstool Sports Team in a new content agreement

Fox Sports and Barstool Sports come together to reinforce the coverage of university football, university basketball and other Fox Sports properties, the companies announced Thursday.

From autumn, the owner and founder of Sports Sports, Dave Portnoy, will become a regular collaborator in the “Big Noon Kickoff” of Fox Sports.

In addition to Portnoy, several sports personalities of Barstool, including Dan Katz, known as “Big Cat”, will appear in “Big Noon Kickoff.”

“We are excited to welcome Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports to the Fox Sports family,” said the CEO and executive producer of Fox Sports, Eric Shanks, in the announcement.

“Dave has built a unique brand that connects with a new generation of sport fans, authentic, bold and original. Its unique voice and its loyal fans base makes them a natural adjustment for our evolutionary multiplatform content strategy.”

Portnoy echoed Shanks’s emotion about collaboration.

Barstool Sports “Barstool College Football Show” will travel with “Big Noon Kickoff” for select games throughout the season. The “Barstool University Football Show” will be broadcast from 9 to 9: 45 am et in channels owned by Barstool, Tubi, the Fox Sports and Foxsports.com application.

As part of the new relationship, Barstool will produce and deliver a live two -hour program that will be broadcast on FS1 from Monday to Friday. More details will be announced on that program at a later date.
