The Framer website builder platform has announced a new set of functions, now available for all users. The characteristics, some of which work with artificial intelligence (AI), are designed to “increase productivity, improve creativity and eliminate barriers between ideas and execution.”
The new features are called Wireframer, workshop, vector and advanced analysis. As the company explained in a press release shared with Techradar Pro, Wireframer is an “intelligent design assistant” that allows users to create custom website structures through indications. The workshop, the second characteristic of AI, can build personalized components while taking into account the style of the site (think of colors, sources, design and more).
Vector is a new set of graphics and icons drawing tools that should allow more users to begin to design their site with Framer. Vectors can be encouraged and customized, exported and combined in icon kits.
Ideas in front and the center
The wire, the workshop and the vector are available for all users, without the need for beta access. However, the fourth feature, Advanced Analytics, is only available for business clients. Advanced Analytics allows users to measure the effectiveness of the site by configuring metrics, executing tests “in a matter of minutes” and then generating complete reports.
Framer believes that new features make the platform friendly for casual web builders and professional designers. According to Koen Bok, CEO and founder of Framer, the new features were introduced after full comments of customers about “how AI can withstand productivity without removing the” magic “of building a site.”
“We are simplifying the concept of the concept to the live site, so ideas can take the center of the stage,” Bok added.
Most of the best websites builders, including Wix, Hostinger and Squarespace, have already introduced generative in some way. The new technology allows developers to “chat” with platforms to create everything, from wire frames and sites sites to full -fledged websites, including content and multimedia.
