The Exchange Deadline of Major League Baseball is Thursday at 6 PM ET, and the New York Mets are in the middle of a race for the crown of the East Division of the National League with the Philadelphia Philis.

However, the Mets Star campocorto, Francisco Lindor, is not concerned about what METS can do or not before the exchange deadline.

“I do not worry about adding or subtracting that is not my job. My work is to play a campocorto, (i) Leave (the concern of the main office) about that, I don’t have to worry about that,” Lindor told Pak Gazette Digital last week after talking about Miracle Treat Day in DQ.

The METS (62-47) currently have a half-game advantage over the Philis (61-47) for the first place in the east of the National League.

The METS have already made some movements before the deadline to strengthen their bullpen, since they acquired the two-time reliever of the All-Star Gregory Soto of the Baltimore Orioles, the configuration of the Tyler Rogers man of the San Francisco giants and the two-time closer of the star Ryan Helley of the cardinals of St. Louis.

Soto has an effectiveness of 3.79 with 46 strikeouts in 38 entries between the orioles and Mets this season. Rogers has been excellent for giants, since it launched an effectiveness of 1.80 in 50 entries, while Helsley recorded 21 salvages with a 3.00 for cardinals.

The Philis also made a great exchange to reinforce their bullpen, since they acquired the closing Jhoan Duran of the Minnesota twins on Wednesday. Duran has an effectiveness of 2.01 with 16 salvages in 49.1 inputs released.

It is also rumored that Mets are interested in acquiring a central gardener, but for Lindor, their approach is in the Mets that try to be the “best version” of themselves.

“We simply continue being ourselves and continue playing the game in the right way and pushing each other and relying each other to try to be the best version of ourselves,” said Lindor.
